The short version. We keep what oddie needs to run markets and votes:
the commands typed in stream chats that use oddie, your public X or Telegram name if you sign in, a
random id for your browser, and your wallet address. We do not sell any of it and we do not run ads.
What we keep, and why
- Stream chats. When a streamer adds oddie to a Kick or Twitch channel, oddie reads that
channel's chat to answer its commands (
!oddie, !call, !yes,
!no). We keep the commands and the name of whoever typed them, to run
votes, open markets and show standings. Every other chat message is read and not kept.
- A streamer's channel. Its name, picture, and the access the streamer granted, stored
encrypted, so oddie can post in that chat, pin a vote where the streamer allows it, and pay the
channel's 2% to the wallet the streamer chooses.
- Your X profile. When you connect X, we read what your profile already shows the world: your
handle, display name, bio, join date, post count, follower counts, and your pinned post. We use it to
show your name on oddie.
- Telegram. If you use @oddiefunbot, your Telegram name and the messages you send it or tag it
in, to open markets and pay whoever opened them.
- A device id. A random string stored in your own browser so that coming back to oddie finds
your account without asking you to connect again. It is not tied to anything outside oddie.
- Your wallet address. Public by nature. We use it to show your positions and to make sure one
each person counts once.
- The markets you open and the bets you place. These are on a public blockchain, so they are
public whether or not we keep a copy.
What we never do
- We never post, reply, follow, or send a DM as you. Connecting X or Telegram does not give oddie the
ability to write from your account. A streamer who adds oddie lets it post in their own chat, and
nowhere else.
- We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not run advertising.
- We do not read your private messages, and we do not see anything on X that a logged-out visitor
cannot already see.
Who else sees it
- X handles the sign-in itself. Their terms and privacy policy apply to that step.
- Kick and Twitch deliver the chat of channels that added oddie, under their own terms.
- Telegram delivers the messages sent to @oddiefunbot, under its own terms.
- Solana. Every market, bet, payout and refund is written to a public blockchain. Anyone can
read it, and nobody, including us, can delete it.
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores the data above so the site can work.
That is the whole list. There is no analytics vendor, no ad network, and no data broker.
Cookies
oddie sets what it needs to work and nothing else: your device id, your sign-in session, and, for the
operator, a preview cookie. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Getting your data out, or deleting it
The Sign out button on your profile unlinks your X
account from this browser. To have your stored profile deleted, email lev@oddie.fun
from the account you want removed, or send it from the X handle itself, and we will remove it.
A streamer can remove oddie in their Kick or Twitch connection settings at any time, and email
lev@oddie.fun to have the channel and its votes deleted.
What is already on chain cannot be deleted by us or by anyone. That is how a public blockchain works,
and it is worth knowing before you take a side.
Children
oddie is not for anyone under 18.
